PhD Student @ Sorbonne University and Softbank Robotics Europe
I am a PhD Student at ISIR in Sorbonne University, under the supervision of Stéphane Doncieux, and at AI-Lab in Softbank Robotics Europe, under the supervision of Alban Laflaquière. Before this, I got my Bachelor Degree at Politecnico di Torino in electronic engineering and then a Master of Science in Robotics, Systems and Control at ETH Zurich. I also did research internships at RAM-Lab in HKUST and at IBM Research Zurich.
My research focuses on Reinforcement Learning. I study mainly sparse rewards settings, in which agents have to learn and explore without any external guidance. This involves Reinforcement Learning, Population-Based algorithms, Evolutionary algorithms, and Representation Learning.
In my free time, I practice rollerblading, climbing, and photography.
